UEDA AND KAWASAKI
Ueda-san is Kumiko's college friend. That's her giving the peace sign. She speaks English really well, and like Kumiko, knows about western music and culture, so she's the easiest of Kumiko's friends for me to communicate with. This evening was Kawasaki-san's debut at my in-law's house. She charmed everyone, as she always does.
